Merry Christmas from our Family to Yours!

I love everything about Christmas, from the lights, the tree with dropping needles in my living room, present wrapping, and all of the yummy food. Our family is always thinking of how much our Wondrous Lord and Savior has blessed us throughout the year, but it is this season that focuses so much upon the glorious birth and life of our Savior. It seems as though there is this spirit in the air that can penetrate a hardened soul to do good. I really enjoyed this year with Teaella being 2 1/2 and her understanding of Jesus becoming more apparent. She loved going to the nursery at Church and learning about the baby Jesus and singing the songs about our Savior. With all that said she really enjoyed the opening up of gifts but she liked being a helper (one who helps pass out the gifts)more. She enjoyed making sugar cookies and reading Christmas stories, but if I had to pin point the thing she loved the most it would have to have been the lights! She loved that it was her job at home to help turn on the lights on the Christmas tree, the stocking stand, and the outdoor Christmas Tree that ended up staying in our living room!
